2025 United Way Food Drive

Our Neighbors in Need are Counting on You!
LIVE UNITED Food Drive: April 28 - May 8, 2025
- The LIVE UNITED Food Drive is a vital charitable giving event held by the United Way of Story County that collects food, hygiene items, and money to fill up Story County's emergency food pantries and meal sites.
- Together, we can work toward alleviating food insecurity and ensuring that everyone has access to sufficient and nourishing food.
- First National Bank is pleased to partner with United Way of Story County again this year by encouraging area residents to help reduce the food insecurity rate and by serving as a collection site. We will have drop-off boxes at our banks located at: 405 5th Street in Ames, 2406 Grand Avenue in Ames, 3334 Lincoln Way in Ames.
How You Can Help
- Donate Money: Cash donations will go straight to the food pantries, giving them maximum flexibility to purchase needed items as they run low. You can write a check, drop off cash, or donate through Venmo.
- Donate Food: Check out the Pantry Wish List or grab some of your favorite items next time you're at the grocery store. Think of what you'd like to feed your family. Individuals can donate new and unopened shelf-stable food items. Drop them off at any of our collection sites by May 8.
