Banking on Character First
First National Bank is pleased to award Corry Johnson from Southview Middle School the April 2019 Banking on Character First award. Corry and his Boy Scout Troop built a 10x10 storage shed for their Eagle service project. The storage shed is located at Hawkeye Park and is used to store sports equipment which was previously stored in the concession stands. This project will benefit community sport programs, as the equipment stored in the shed are used for multiple sports and utilized by many adults and children. The shed will ensure that equipment stays in great condition. Johnson will be rewarded for his project submission with a $75 Savings Account at First National Bank and another $75 to help with the implementation of his project. Teacher Nathan Newhard was awarded a check for $50 to be used in his classroom. To learn more about Banking on Character First or to submit a project idea visit www.FNB247.com.
